Get out there and practice
So a half year or so ago I ran into these guys who started an internet matching service in Japan. They had put a new spin on the concept by including language learning and travel from the get-go. I mentioned how cool I thought it'd be for people who use Rikai in the different modes to be able to meet and practice. Or to exchange a few e-mails with somebody here before taking a trip.
So they set me up with my very own "
Rikai Friends" site. How cool is that?
Before anyone gets on my case, you should know I met my wife at the University of Arizona through a tutoring setup between the Japanese and CESL depts. there (this was, after all, before
Al Gore's vision of the internet really took off.)
